identify a ‘client organization.’ Specifically you will use Block’s model of 5 Phases and “how” these apply to your specific project. Also:
- Identify the type of client (work team, unit, department, division, etc.)
- Describe the client organization, that is, what do they do? Marketing? Accounting?
- Where do they fit within the larger organization? Report up through?
- Describe how they are organized/structured; hierarchy (leader’s title), members roles/types of jobs, population (how many work there).
- Identify their OD issue/s with as much detail as possible (change problem or challenge) and their readiness for change (readiness to deal with this issue)
